Update: Crime After Crime

Director Yoav Potash spent seven years following the story of Debbie Peagler, a woman wrongly imprisoned for life in the Los Angeles County jail system, and the intrepid lawyers who work to free her. He tells her amazing story in the documentary, Crime After CrimeHe brought the final edit of the film to halflife for finishing on the SCRATCH system. The halflife team cleaned noise from SD footage, conformed and matched the film's various formats, and color finished the film to Yoav's specs.

The final version of Crime After Crime premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival with six sold-out screenings. That began an impressive run of showings at six more festivals yielding seven more prizes and honors. Crime After Crime is currently in select theaters around the country and you can find screenings and showtimes here: http://crimeaftercrime.com/connect/.

Crime After Crime is also premiering in November as part of the OWN Documentary Club lineup. The schedule can be found at http://www.oprah.com/own-doc-club/OWN-Documentary-Club_1 as November gets closer.

We wish Yoav continued success in the coming years and look forward to working on more projects together in the future.
