Finishing Streetcar

David was the DIT on Fred Weller's short film, "Streetcar," which was shot partially in New York and partially in New Mexico. Fred (aka "Marshall Mann" on In Plain Sight) enjoyed working with him, so Dave also ended up with the pleasure of color finishing his film. Dave had a chance to flex his color muscles, as the film contained some footage that was supposed to be coming from the TV show that the lead actress (Ali Marsh Weller, Fred's wife) is a star in -- inside the film, "Streetcar." It needed to be differentiated from the rest of the film, so Dave gave it its own TV-show colorization, and the results were fantastic.
Update 2010: "Streetcar" was accepted into several prestigious film festivals.
